Ingredients you will need:
- 1 kg frozen boneless turkey meat for dogs
- vegetable mix – carrots, celery, and zucchini
- salmon oil
- kelp powder
- eggshells for dogs
Instructions
Steam the turkey meat. Steaming preserves valuable nutrients compared to boiling. After cooking, let the meat cool down or place it in a bag of ice to rapidly change its temperature. This enhances the flavor of the meat.
Steam the vegetables until tender, then let them cool down.
Pour whole grain couscous into a cup and add hot water (according to the package instructions).
Salmon oil provides essential Omega-3 and Omega-6 fatty acids for the dog’s diet and supports healthy fur.
Kelp powder contains many essential natural minerals and vitamins, while ground eggshells for dogs serve as a calcium substitute for raw bones.
After all ingredients have cooled down, portion the food into freezer bags and freeze it.
Daily serving of cooked food for dogs
Initially, when introducing cooked food, it’s advisable to follow the recommended daily portion for dogs, which is 2-3% of the dog’s body weight. However, over time, it’s important to monitor the dog’s weight and adjust the amount accordingly.
Here’s the recommended daily portion for a 10 kg dog with a daily feeding portion of 250 g. The recipe follows the recommended ingredient ratio: 65% meat, 25% vegetables, and 10% side dish. We recommend using a kitchen scale to measure the desired amount of food. For dogs with sensitive digestion, it’s advisable to divide the daily portion into smaller servings and feed multiple times a day.
